So dentures come in two types, basically a full denture and a partial denture. If the patient is missing a few teeth and we’re looking for an economical way to replace those teeth, then we might consider a partial denture. If they’re missing all their teeth, then of course we’re looking at a full denture.
We offer both procedures here and we start with impressions to get a model of the patient’s mouth and then build the dentures from there. The most important part of the denture process is the try-in, which is our last opportunity to get the patient’s buy-in, make sure that we’ve got the look, the appearance, the comfort that they want. If you don’t have teeth, you’re simply not able to to chew.
And so by replacing those teeth, we allow our patients to once again function so that they’re chewing properly, but also we restore their appearance, allowing them to have a proper smile.

- Traditional Full Dentures – This style of denture replaces all teeth in your upper or lower jaw, resting directly on your gums.
- Traditional Partial Dentures – These fill gaps left by multiple missing teeth, attaching to your remaining natural teeth.
- Implant-Retained Dentures – These dentures snap onto dental implants for improved stability and comfort. Implants help protect you from bone loss in your jaw.
- Implant-Supported Dentures – These are attached to implants using a metal bar. They offer the most secure and natural feel.

If you are missing many teeth or even all your teeth, then dentures may be a good option for replacing your teeth. When you come in for your initial exam, we can assess your situation and let you know if dentures would be suitable for you. Many patients find that custom dentures are a great way to renew their smile and bite.
The exact time it takes to make dentures can vary significantly, depending on the style of denture, the materials they’re made from, and other factors. When we order your dentures, we can give you a much better time frame. However, most dentures require one to two weeks to be made professionally in a lab.
Thanks to advances in dental technology, you can enjoy nearly any food you desire without dietary limitations. While conventional dentures may require you to alter your eating habits, implant-supported dentures provide a more natural biting function. With this option, you can eat a wide variety of crunchy or chewy foods, since implant-supported dentures offer a bite strength comparable to having a full set of natural teeth.
